Adams Delmar was founded in 1987 by John Adams, who has served as both senior solicitor and sole partner for nearly four decades. Over this time, the firm has handled more than twenty thousand matters and built a trusted reputation within the local community. The firm’s focus has always been on private client work, including probate, wills, and lasting powers of attorney, alongside a select range of residential conveyancing services.
In April 2026, Adams Delmar begins a new chapter as part of Garner & Hancock Solicitors, a long‑established firm with roots dating back to 1882.

John Adams was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 1981 and started the practice in Hampton in 1987. He has a wide range of experience, offering assistance to clients in connection with Probate, Wills, Declarations of Trust, Estate Planning and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Agatha Gawlowska
MCILEX Advanced Paralegal
Agatha Gawlowska joined the practice in 2013 and is a MCILEX Advanced Paralegal member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. She undertakes residential conveyancing and private client work.
